The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in all guest rooms and public areas. The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing guests with an exceptional stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Room Cleaning: Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitising bathrooms.
  2. Public Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  3. Laundry Management: Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and towels.
  4. Inventory Control: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities; report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
  5. Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to guests, responding to special requests and addressing concerns.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols in the handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  7. End-of-Stay Cleaning: Conduct thorough cleaning after guests check out to prepare rooms for new arrivals.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with front desk staff and maintenance teams to coordinate room turnovers and guest requests.
